Have you ever been scared of boarding a plane? If so, you're not alone. The fear of flying, called Aerophobia, is among the most common fears that people experience. This phobia is often a devastating, overwhelming feeling. It may even keep you from using air travel; traveling to new places, or visiting loved ones. Beating such a phobia used to take years of therapy, but now there are hypnosis and NLP techniques to eliminate phobias for easier, life-improving results. Are you wondering what a phobia is? All phobias are categorized as a form of anxiety disorder, and many who have them will experience panic attacks and other unpleasant feelings such as shakiness, physical illness, or a rapid heart beat. We can talk about phobias until the cows come home. We all have them and sometimes are stuck with them to such an extent that they destroy our chances of being happy. To the end, there is a glimmer of hope by using the NLP rewind technique. It has been around for a while and is very popular with modern doctors today. The word NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming which helps us to visualize, rewind and correct the problems we face with fears and phobias. Researchers and doctors alike say that we fixate on a trauma by replaying it over and over in our minds until the past event is now in our present always. An interesting case surfaced the other day about a woman who was petrified to drive a car.Janet, who is 40 years old, married with two children has never sat behind a wheel of a car because when she was a young girl she tragically lost her brother in a car accident. She was really afraid to drive because she convinced herself that she would also die if she drove a car. She would reply on many people to shuttle her back and forth in her life, ...

Hypnosis is a good psychoanalytical tool that enables a psychoanalyst to get access to a patient's subconscious mind and understand the problems, inhibitions, hidden fears and long forgotten experiences which shape one's psychology. It is also an important tool to communicate with the patient's subconscious mind and provide suggestions to cure not only psychological disorders but also problems of addiction, sleep disorders and weight loss. However, hypnosis is a fairly simple technique which can be self taught from literature. There are now courses available online. They are easy to grasp and are available in the easily accessible form of CD packs and Internet downloads. Here are a few simple tips that can help you in learning hypnosis:1) The environment should be harmonious preferably with soft music, non - threatening and free of disturbance. You should establish a rapport with the subject and win his confidence through congenial chatting and clearing any doubts he may have about hypnosis, such as not being able to come out of hypnosis or becoming a mental slave or a zombie like person who is always under the command of the hypnotizer. The subject needs to be convinced that after the hypnosis session he'll be as normal as ...

'Confidence', as defined within Confidence Hypnosis, is not just a positive feeling in the body; it is also a state of mind, an approach to life, which tends to lead to self-acceptance and success. It encompasses focus, effort and commitment as well as the ability to both accept and learn from mistakes made along the way.Nobody comes into the world lacking in confidence. Such self-perceptions develop over time, largely as a result of life experiences; what happened in the past, interpretation of those events and the nature of the emotions around the stored memories of those events.Whatever the causes, the symptoms of low self-confidence can be severe. At a physical level, the state of high alert that results from not feeling confident in a given situation, typically stimulates the internal fight or flight response, releasing detrimental stress hormones, creating breathlessness, tension, reddening of the face, shaking, sweating and so on. Low self-confidence also affects a person at a cognitive level, encouraging negative, self-defeating thinking; at an emotional level, often leaving people feeling depressed, weak, unworthy; and, at a behavioural level, constraining choices and opportunities, ultimately influencing work, relationships, success and overall enjoyment of life. But much of this suffering is unnecessary. ...
