"When you breathe, you inspire. When you do not breathe, you expire." - Quote from an 11-year-old's science examJohn Grinder, co-creator of NLP talks about the link between respiration, physiology, internal state and high performance. He calls this 'the chain of excellence'. I recently read a book by Osho, the wonderfully non-PC mystic and guru. In the book, Osho instructed the reader to pay attention to their breathing rate when they were sad, and notice the timing of the in-breath and out-breath. He explained that next time they were happy, they could re-induce the sad state by merely repeating the breathing pattern. Fortunately, he added, it works the other way round too!Follow some or all of these exercises;Firstly; When you are experiencing a powerful, positive state, allow yourself to become aware of your breathing rate. Pay particular attention to the timing and rhythm of your in-breath and out-breath.Secondly; Next time you are in a neutral or negative state, start breathing at the rate and rhythm from exercise one, and within a minute or so, the positive state should begin to return. Many gurus advise people to do breathing exercises regularly. I know Tony Robbins does in his marvellous book "Unlimited Power" ...

I remember when I was 15 and I first saw a brochure for Anthony Robbins. I knew I had to be at that seminar. And after begging and pleading with my parents, and paying for the ticket, I ended up making my way there. Obviously, Mr. Robbins is a great motivator. And probably one of the best people I have ever seen on stage. And I have no doubt that much of what I learnt that weekend in Darling Harbour has rubbed off on me ever since. After all, we all need a little motivation in life, don't we? And you can't expect to get it from the news.I just flicked over to the local news reviews today and I can see articles about families having to choose between heating or eating... someone starving to death in hospital...and how deer hunters are leaving the children deer for dead. And while it might be true, it's certainly not focusing on the positive things happening in the world, is it?But you can.No matter what business you are in, you can decide to spread good news rather than bad news. Think about it. It doesn't matter if you are a chiropractor, a mechanic, a carpet distributor, a ...

Find Hypnotherapy Schools in the United States and Canada. Once you've taken the time to review the various educational platforms that are offered at these alternative career-training institutes, you can pursue your education through an extensive certification course, weekend training seminar, an apprenticeship course, a residential intensive program, home studies, or continuing education classes. Hypnotherapy schools are regulated and/or approved by the State in which they do business; and many hypnotherapy schools offer basic, intermediate and advanced certification courses. Presently, there aren't any licensing processes for hypnotherapy, nor any accredited university degree programs. (Check with your state for rules and regulations pertaining to hypnotherapist practice.)The field of hypnotherapy is continuing to expand and individuals have the opportunity to gain appropriate training at one of a number of hypnotherapy schools in some of the following disciplines: medical hypnosis, dental hypnosis, forensic hypnosis, sports hypnosis, business/education hypnosis, regression hypnosis, behavioral hypnosis, and hypnotherapy as a tool in psychotherapy. Most hypnotherapy schools teach students how to administer hypnotherapy sessions that help clients with: smoking cessation, weight control, phobia elimination, habit extinction, personal growth, spiritual growth, performance enhancement, insomnia, past life regressions and behavioral change. Other topics that hypnotherapy schools offer frequently include communication skills, ...

Learn How To Network.....My business colleagues tell me that networking is the fastest growing and most effective way for me to "keep my finger on the business pulse" and gain more and new profitable clients. I consider myself to be one of the "networking challenged" who doesn't like networking and isn't very good at it. What can I do to improve my skills? The art and science of nurturing your networking is to learn and practice five key skills:Step One: First, see clearly what you want to achieve. Ask yourself what you want. For example: ' To meet business people who may be potential clients and develop my business.' Then ask yourself what businesses you would like to work with. Once you have done this go along as a guest to several networking groups to find the type of business people you wish to meet. Choose the networking group or groups you will attend and make a commitment to your self to attend regularly.Step Two: Learn the process of networking. Be prepared to be proactive and approach people and develop an ongoing relationship based on trust. As a starting point, prepare a few "open" questions to begin a conversation, such as ...
